The Blade XL is a real multipurpouse glider that will suite either your request for a fast machine and able to slow down and circle tight to catch the lightest thermals.
The all composite fibreglass carbon fiber reinforced wing is in two pieces for an easy transport, use a RG 15 modified profile to offer the best performance in a wide speed range.
The fuselage is strong and big enough to accept standard size servos and a big battery for long flight time. All moulded Vtails are easily removable for transport.
The Blade XL is the best choiche when you are going on holiday and in the car you have space enough for only one model: fast and brilliant when the conditions are good, it will surprise you with its ability to survive  when there is almost nothing good around. The SuperBlade is better suited to lighter condition, and you will be able to fly it when most of the other models have to stay on the ground.
The model requires 6 micro servos (2 ailerons, 2 flaps, elevator and rudder) and a transmitter capable of dealing with 4 servos wings and Vtails.
We strongly suggest the use of a good quality receiver. Available on request also in full carbon version (this one is lightly heavier and most suited to strong flying conditions) with ballast tube; it is also possible to ask for a standard model with carbon-kevlar fuselage so as for a full carbon version.
